Hello all and its already Thursday here. I’ve been looking at my visitor from the major search engine and is sad to say that since I’ve changed to a new url and get my own domain name the search engines have not been so kind to me. I’ve lost almost all of my placing at major search engine like Google, Yahoo and even Bing and it’s like it just disappear completely to no where. I used to get about thirty to fifty visitors a day from them but now I would be so lucky if I were to receive only one or two visitors. I’m so disappointed to say the least and hope that my search for my house’s Laminate flooring install will be more fulfilling as I really need to get my bathroom fix and also on time. Not forgetting  that the the  flooring contractors must be a licensed and trusted. And it would be even better if they cover everything with manufacturers’ warranties and a strong satisfaction guarantee.

I knew and was even told before what the circumstances of changing url name would have and the effect it would be on this blog itself  but I never would have thought that it would be such a drastic one.  I guess from now on I’ll just have to work even harder to get back my search engine visitors and again be placed in the 1st and 2nd page at google’s search.

Ok, now that I’ve gotten out that search engine visitor thing off my chest, let’s get back to today’s post edition. Today I would like to feature paintings by the  famous Vincent Van Gogh. Enjoy all and check out his biography on this blog too ya.

Biography Of Walasse Ting (b.1929)

Happy Tuesday all, I missed a post edition yesterday and it was all because of the the reunion party that we hosted last Sunday. I’m happy to say that the party came out to be a very successful and joyful one. Almost all that have made commitment came and even Sam manage to make time and came after settling in his Cottage Holidays room in a nice area here.

I will blog about the event in another post when I have more time but for now.. it’s another biography for you guys.

Born in 1929 in Wuxi, China, Walasse Ting, an artist, began his career painting on sidewalks in the street where he was raised in Shanghai. But it was not later in 1952 that he moved to Paris was when he was exposed to Western art. He was particularly greatly inspired  by the works of Picasso and the Expressionist movement. Ting emigrated to New York in 1960 where he was influence by Figuratism or Representational Art and he also become involved with pop artists. 19th century sensuality became the trade mark in Ting’s works with a rich kaleidoscope of bright luminous colors. Walasse Ting’s brilliant color characterizes his women, flower, birds and animals art work with freshness and vitality. Walasse Ting held more than 60 successful solo exhibition in many major art museums and galleries all around the world including Paris, Brus New York and Zurich.

Pound To Dollar

Just as I was about to call it a night, I received an email from Sam. Sam was a college classmate whom apparently is living abroad right now but to be exact, Canada. In his email he said that he will be coming to the reunion party as he will be back on the day itself. He also told me that actually he have heard about it long ago from a social network but could not decide weather he was able to come. However, yesterday he received an email from his client here in Indonesia about a meeting on Monday. And so why not come a day ahead and attend the reunion he told me. He also told me that he had to do some current-exchange from Pond to Dollar. Well I then told him to do what he need to do first but just make sure he come to the reunion party on Sunday as most of my closest friends from college have made a commitment to come. And that’s end of the conversation with Sam.

I really hope Sam can make it to the reunion as Sam was one of that wild kind of person that have always been the live of a party. Come on Sam, we’re counting on you to come.

Well as long as I’m already up and awake I might as well post some paintings right? Here are a few from the famous Wassily Kandinsky. Enjoy all…

Packing Boxes

The door bell rang 30 minutes ago and a delivery man handed us a package After signing the papers and stuff the delivery man left, Susan (my wife) immediately open the package as she have been waiting for it for a few days already. However, what happened was that she immediately started laughing once the box was open as instead of the usual bubble wrap packing that looks like it has little air studs sticking out of it or the corner and edge protection type of packing boxes we had a full load of little shredded paper. You know the kind of shredded papers from the shred machine kind of thing that your office might throw everyday?

Well at first I thought it was pretty cool as it was like recyclable and stuff until Ray and Roy (my twins children) started to toss them all over the floor like wedding confetti and started to throw them at each other. That really made me crazy as I’ve just finished cleaning up the house for tomorrow school’s reunion :(
