Barack Obama

Born on August 4, 1961, Barack Obama spent a portion of his childhood living in Hawaii and Indonesia before moving to Los Angeles at the tender age of 18. He was a law graduate from Columbia University and Harvard Law School and has taught law classes at the University of Chicago Law School.

The year 1996 marked the start of his political career when Obama was elected to the Illinois Senate. He was hugely popular within the Democratic Party as he becomes a senator on January 4, 2005. During this period Obama sponsored regulations which promote transparency and non-deceptive within the government and health insurance program to protect families of injured soldiers. In 2007 Obama officially announced his candidacy for President and on a fateful day on November 4, 2008, history was made and Americans rejoiced as Obama won to be the elected President. I wonder during his candidacy and campaign he must have used the computer and internet a lot. Did he ever made use of the IT support services as they can really help in running business.

However, tough challengers soon halted his path of political glory. One of the first few was the global economy crisis which was deemed as the worst since The Great Depression. Obama issued an economic stimulus package consisting of increasing federal spending on health care, infrastructure, education and tax breaks.
The day Obama was elected President was a moment of change, and that was what Barack Obama represents: hope for everyone in America.
