Happy Tuesday all, I missed a post edition yesterday and it was all because of the the reunion party that we hosted last Sunday. I’m happy to say that the party came out to be a very successful and joyful one. Almost all that have made commitment came and even Sam manage to make time and came after settling in his Cottage Holidays room in a nice area here.

I will blog about the event in another post when I have more time but for now.. it’s another biography for you guys.

Born in 1929 in Wuxi, China, Walasse Ting, an artist, began his career painting on sidewalks in the street where he was raised in Shanghai. But it was not later in 1952 that he moved to Paris was when he was exposed to Western art. He was particularly greatly inspired  by the works of Picasso and the Expressionist movement. Ting emigrated to New York in 1960 where he was influence by Figuratism or Representational Art and he also become involved with pop artists. 19th century sensuality became the trade mark in Ting’s works with a rich kaleidoscope of bright luminous colors. Walasse Ting’s brilliant color characterizes his women, flower, birds and animals art work with freshness and vitality. Walasse Ting held more than 60 successful solo exhibition in many major art museums and galleries all around the world including Paris, Brus New York and Zurich.
